New Student Enrollment

New Student Enrollment

Please pass this information along to any of your friends or neighbors who have Preppy-K or Kindergarten-age children or others who live in Lakeview Elementary's attendance area and are interested in attending Lakeview Elementary next school year.

Lakeview Elementary School’s Preppy-K / Kindergarten and New Student ONLINE Registration will begin on Monday, February 1, 2021  Be sure to check the correct date you are enrolling for (i.e. next school year 2021 vs. current school year) and make sure you have the correct spelling of your child’s name and correct birth date, exactly as listed on your child’s birth certificate.  Please DO NOT USE all uppercase when completing your registration online. Once you have completed your online registration we have a Part B Packet that you will need to pick up from our school office.  We would like to have your registration packets completed and returned no later than February 26th. This assists us with our enrollment projections for the next school year.

Please Note: Your child MUST be 5 years old by September 2, 2021 to be eligible for Kindergarten.

In order to qualify for our TK (Preppy K) Program, you MUST live in our attendance area, and your child must be 5 years old by March 31, 2022.

Any questions regarding Child Care, please contact our Child Care Lead Teacher, Jennifer Gutierrez, at 714-223-7506.

Due to COVID, we are NOT hosting a registration day as we have in the past. Unfortunately, we are not able to conduct school tours at this time. Please feel free to call our front office with any questions.

Once you have completed the first step of registering online, please call our front office at 714-986-7190 to let us know that you are ready for Part B of our registration process.

All incoming students must provide the following documents:

            •  Birth Certificate - Original legal Birth Certificate or passport, not hospital certificate
            • Immunization Record - Must include complete dates of all immunizations, including diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, polio, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, rubella, and chickenpox vaccines. Immunizations must be up to date prior to school entry.
    • Proof of residency - Current gas or electric bill, rental agreement, escrow papers, IRS documents, property tax documentation, or paycheck stub.  We will need one proof of residency and verification of identity of parent with a legal document.

This year, Lakeview Elementary has one Preppy K and two full-day Kindergarten classes, however, depending on enrollment numbers this can change for the incoming school year.

Thank you,

Lakeview Office Staff
