The weather has finally shifted, rec soccer has started, and the football season is upon us! At Lakeview, we are entering a fun-filled Fall season of PTA events. Make sure to read below to stay up to date on the exciting activities and fundraisers.
Parent Volunteers - We love our parent/guardian/grandparent volunteers! Thank you for donating your time and talents to help ensure our students are learning and classrooms are running smoothly. A few reminders:
- Volunteer Privacy and Confidentiality Agreements need to be renewed each year and kept on file in the office. Thank you for adhering to these important expectations.
- Bring a valid ID for every visit. This helps expedite your check-in process, so our fantastic office staff can get back to their other tasks.
- Sign out at the end of your shift. If there is an emergency, we will need to locate all volunteers still signed in, which could distract us from other urgent matters.

Friday(9/25) Night Plans = SORTED! Ready to launch into the weekend? Take the family to Urban Air in Fullerton next Friday, 9/25!
You bring the energy, and Urban Air gives 20% back to Lakeview PTA on all passes and jump socks. Massive fun for the kids, huge win for our school! Check out the attached flyer for all the details.

Join us Friday, October 23 from 5:00–7:00 PM for our Spooktacular Trunk or Treat—a special evening for our Lakeview community to come together, celebrate, and create memories our children will cherish. We’re hoping every classroom will join the fun by creating a creative, decorated trunk and helping bring this celebration to life! - High School Volunteers: We’re also welcoming high school volunteers looking to earn service hours and local businesses interested in hosting a trunk or sponsoring the event. Every trunk, helping hand, and contribution makes this event more special for our students. Let’s come together to make our first Spooktacular Trunk or Treat a joyful night filled with laughter, creativity, connection, and Lakeview spirit! Unleash Your Child’s Creativity with PTA Reflections Art Contest! The National PTA Reflections program is back! This year’s theme, "What My Culture Means to Me," invites students to celebrate their heritage, traditions, and identity through the arts. Your child can submit original work in Dance Choreography & Film Production, Literature & Music Composition, Photography & Visual Arts. See the attached flyer.

Save the Date: Fall Book Fair September 30th - Oct 2! Volunteers are needed to work the book fair and will receive $10 Scholastic Dollars per shift. In addition any leftover funds on previous E wallets can be converted to a gift card for students to spend at the Fall Fair. The e-wallet link is located on the flyer. CLICK HERE to volunteer! September is Attendance Awareness Month!
When students miss school, they miss more than just assignments. They miss important face-to-face instruction and the daily social interactions with their peers that are essential for their overall health and well-being. Learn more about why attendance matters HERE.

Need to Report an Absence? Please let the Office Staff know of your child’s absence by 10am using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Fill out the Absence Reporting Google Form, located on our school website.
Option 2: Call the 24 hr. Absence Reporting Line (also for students who will be tardy) at 714-986-7190, then press 3. Please leave a detailed message including the reason for the absence.
