Dear Lakeview Community,
Thank you to all our families and community members who joined the PTA, helping us move towards our 200-member goal. Although the class competition has ended (the winner to be announced soon), you can still join and help fund our special events that extend and enrich our Lions’ learning experience, such as field trips, assemblies, and classroom supplies.
The weather is finally dropping out of the 90’s! Our students have been on modified activities during recesses and PE this week, and we anticipate a welcome return to the play equipment next week. Please continue to send your child with layers for the air-conditioned classroom. We have drinking stations around campus to refill water bottles. We highly encourage you to label your child’s items and have them check the Lost and Found for missing jackets, lunchboxes, and water bottles.
LAST DAY TO PURCHASE SPIRIT WEAR & 5th Grade Shirts! Click HERE to place your order before the store closes tonight!

- While we are happy to honor and celebrate your child’s birthday, please be mindful of our Student/Parent Handbook expectations, page 14. Any items brought to school that do not follow our expectations will not be distributed. Thank you for understanding!
Save the Date: Fall Book Fair September 30th - Oct 2! Volunteers are needed to work the book fair and will receive $10 Scholastic Dollars per shift. In addition, any leftover funds on previous E-wallets can be converted to a gift card for students to spend at the Fall Fair. The e-wallet link is located on the flyer. CLICK HERE to volunteer!
September is Attendance Awareness Month! Did you know that chronic absenteeism, whether due to excused or unexcused absences, can be an early warning sign of poor academic outcomes and may increase the risk of dropping out of school? Learn more about why attendance matters HERE.
