Happy Saturday! Thank you to our many families for attending the Spring Family Picnic! The weather was just about perfect (not too hot, not too cold) and our turnout was great. I hope you enjoyed time with your child and fellow parents.
Our yearly CARNIVAL is coming up next Friday, June 5 from 4-7pm. See the attached flyer for details. Parking will be limited, please plan ahead to ride/walk. Enter through Gate 2. Food for sale including Mustache Mike’s. There will be a variety of fun carnival games, face painting, temporary tattoos, photo op, and more! The silent auction baskets have been rolling into the office and they look amazing! Bidding will be available at the event only and will end promptly at 7pm. Winners do not need to be present to win. Basket themes include: Summer Chill, Disney, Tech, Summer Fun, Spa, Game Night, Color Me Mine, Movie Night, Health & Fitness, Road Trip, Lucky Us (Scratchers) and more!
Thursday, June 4 - Field/Water Day for PE! Please send your child with a light towel and change of clothes in their backpack. This final day of PE will include optional water activities. It looks like a warm week ahead so this will be a cooling welcome!
**Minimum Day - Friday, June 5** Please see the Bell Schedule for accurate arrival/dismissal times! The afternoon is reserved for teacher grading and report cards.
Families can now purchase ‘26-27 school supplies through our online store and Lakeview School receives a kickback! This is the easiest way to order the exact supplies teachers requested for next year. No searching multiple stores. No guessing brands. No wondering if you selected the right version. Friendly Reminders:
- Students are not to have cell phones or iWatches in class. They may store them in their backpack during the school day and access them at dismissal.
- There are a lot of end of year excitement and activities. Please refrain from sending to school items that are home-baked or any food items in goodie bags. These will not be distributed to ensure the safety of students and ensure parents have knowledge of the food their child is consuming.
- Please plan extra time to park and check in at the office with a valid ID for all end of year events, unless directed differently.
- Unless specifically noted, younger siblings are not allowed at classroom events.

Safety Reminders - Please continue to follow drop off and pick up expectations. This includes using the Vista del Verde park entrance to appropriately join the valet line. The first driveway is reserved for busses and staff. Additionally, please be alert and drive safely!

Every Friday is Lakeview Spirit Day - Wear your school colors (gold/black) or your Lion gear every Friday to celebrate our community!
Need to Report an Absence? Please let the Office Staff know of your child’s absence by 10am using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Fill out the Absence Reporting Google Form, located on our school website.
Option 2: Call the 24 hr. Absence Reporting Line (also for students who will be tardy) at 714-986-7190, then press 3.
