Families can now purchase ‘26-27 school supplies through our online store. This is the easiest way to order the exact supplies teachers requested for next year. No searching multiple stores. Friendly Reminders:
- Students are not to have cell phones or iWatches in class. They may store them in their backpack during the school day and access them at dismissal.
- There are a lot of end of year excitement and activities. Please refrain from sending to school items that are home-baked or any food items in goodie bags. These will not be distributed to ensure the safety of students and ensure parents have knowledge of the food their child is consuming.
- Please plan extra time to park and check in at the office with a valid ID for all end of year events, unless directed differently.
- Unless specifically noted, younger siblings are not allowed at classroom events.
Families of gifted learners - you are invited to attend the CA Association of the Gifted’s annual family conference on May 9, 2026. This is a one-day virtual event to help provide you with a greater understanding of your child’s uniqueness and ways to support their development. **As you look at summer plans, please be advised that our PLYUSD School Calendar has shifted for the 2026-27 school year, with an earlier start date of August 13th. You can find the calendar HERE.
Save the date: Lakeview Carnival on Friday, June 5th, 4-7pm. Kady Glasby and her team are building a fantastic event for the community. More info to come!

Safety Updates - Please continue to follow drop off and pick up expectations. This includes using the Vista del Verde park entrance to appropriately join the valet line. The first driveway is reserved for busses and staff. Additionally, please be alert and drive safely!

Need to Report an Absence? Please let the Office Staff know of your child’s absence by 10am using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Fill out the Absence Reporting Google Form, located on our school website.
Option 2: Call the 24 hr. Absence Reporting Line (also for students who will be tardy) at 714-986-7190, then press 3. Please have the following information ready:
Student's first & last name
- Teacher
- Date of the absence
- Reason for the absence
- Name of the person reporting the absence & their relationship to the student
- Contact phone number
