Thank you to our lovely PTA Board for hosting a table at the District-wide PTA Founders Day Dinner at the Alta Vista Country Club. Your ongoing efforts to strengthen our community makes Lakeview so dynamic and special. And congratulations to Shweta Shah on winning her prized get-a-way basket!
Science Fair 2026 is on its way! Please see the attached packet with information to guide this at-home project. In the past, we have had many entries across all grade levels and look forward to more! This year, we will align the due dates so the science projects are displayed during Open House. DUE March 2nd.

Goals & Celebrations:
- The first class with 100% AND The class with the most Finns Missions get an invite to a popsicle party!! Mrs. Riggio’s class is currently in the lead!
- Mrs. Given has accepted the PRINCIPALS CHALLENGE! Once we get 220 students signed up for Kids Heart Challenge, that’s about half the school, we will earn $500 to spend on our playground! We currently have 131 students signed up - more than half way there! To celebrate, everyone can dress up as their favorite heart hero pup or their color, and Mrs. Given will come to school in an inflatable dog costume, just like this year’s Heart Heroes!!
- Finn’s Mission Fridays! Complete Finn’s Mission before each Friday (until February 27th) to be honored with your superhero cape at a caping ceremony during RECESS! 23 students have already finished Finn's Mission! Check out our Instagram to see these caped heart heroes!

- Start Finn’s Mission where students become lifesavers by learning Hands-Only CPR and the warning signs of a stroke.

Need to Report an Absence? Please let the Office Staff know of your child’s absence by 10am using one of the following methods:
Option 1: Fill out the Absence Reporting Google Form, located on our school website.
Option 2: Call the 24 hr. Absence Reporting Line (also for students who will be tardy) at 714-986-7190, then press 3. Please have the following information ready:
- Student's first & last name
- Teacher
- Date of the absence
- Reason for the absence
- Name of the person reporting the absence & their relationship to the student
- Contact phone number
