Thank you for the wonderful appreciation towards our staff this week! The snacks, treats, coffee, donuts, lunch, breakfast, flowers, gift cards, and creative gifts have been a truly wonderful delight. We are so thankful for your partnership and are honored to get to teach your children. Thank you to Gina Kay, PTA Member, for spearheading The Garden of Thanks theme and contributions!
The 2022 PYLUSD Summer Enrichment Program will be hosted at Lakeview 馃 from June 27-July 28 for all current TK-7th grade students. This year, the program will be at no cost to families but we do anticipate a waiting list. Registration will open at 6pm tonight. Please see the attached flier. You can preview courses HERE.

AVID Binder Pre-sale:
Once again, Lakeview is offering AVID pre-order binders for current 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade students. AVID binders are required in all upper grade AVID classes grades 3, 4, & 5. Taking advantage of the pre- order saves you time shopping, ensures your student is organized, and is ready to go on their desk the very first day of school. Please see the attached pre-order form that went home to all incoming upper grade students last week. The deadline to order is May 12.
The Lakeview Carnival is almost here! You鈥檙e not going to want to miss out on this totally tubular flashback to the 80s on June 3rd! See the attached flier for presale information. Volunteers are also needed!!! Share your time, talents, or treasures with us! See the attached flier for volunteer info. Please note that ax throwing will be replaced with all-star basketball, an equally rad and totally awesome activity.
Dining with Lakeview! Join us for our final restaurant fundraiser on Wednesday, May 11 from 10am-6pm at Campitelli Cookies located in Placentia. Flier attached!
Did you know that Lakeview Elementary has a before and after school care program on campus? The Lakeview Expanded Learning Program strives to support the Lakeview students and families by providing a safe and enriching environment before and after school. The hours of operation are 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM. Monthly fees are based on your contracted schedule. Holidays coincide with the school鈥檚 district calendar. Registration for the upcoming 22-23 school year will open up to currently enrolled students and incoming TK students April 6, 2022 at 9:00 AM. If space is available, registration will be accepted for new families on April 25, 2022. Health & Wellness:
We are on our final stretch into the remaining weeks of the 2021-22 school year! With that comes a lot of excitement for summer plans and unique health illnesses due to the changing seasons. Please continue to monitor your child for overall health and wellness, including but not limited to the common cold, COVID, stomach bugs, lice, allergies, etc. You can notify our office staff of any absences by using our simple and easy Absence Reporting Google Form!
