Lakeview Lion Updates: April 29, 2022

Dear Lakeview Community,

Thank you for the wonderful birthday messages! What a surprise to have your sweet children’s smiling faces calling out “Happy Birthday” from your car window at morning drop off and to have them give lots of group hugs at recess. So far 40 is quite fun!! 🤩

Thank you to the parents who attended our final Coffee with the Principal on Tuesday and ELAC Meeting on Thursday. These gatherings are truly a favorite of mine as it is an opportunity to get to know you and share wonderful updates at Lakeview. This week, we looked at a few articles and resources from CommonSenseMedia.org, a fabulous parent resource for movies, video games, TV shows, podcasts, and other online tools and shared input on ways to help best support Lakeview students. Take a look at the resources shared at Coffee with the Principal:

Thank you to Guneet and Punit Sharma for providing the coffee and delicious pastries! I hope you can all join us next year.

Our CAASPP testing window opens next week for grades 3-5! We are already SO proud of your child’s growth and energy - now’s their time to show us what they know. Lions - do your best on the test!
