Dear Lakeview Families,
Wow! What an amazing Open House! It was wonderful to have so many of our families back on campus together, celebrating the hard work and creativity of your children, and honoring the dedication of each teacher and staff member. I hope you were able to capture some great memories with your child in their classroom, learning about where they spend 7 hours of their day. A huge thank you to our PTA for organizing B&C Tacos Stand to provide so many of us with dinner and to enjoy the chilly evening weather outside. Our PTA Association Meeting successfully approved our new Board for 2022-2023:
- President: Karie Yost
- 1st VP/Membership Chair: Elysse Salumbides
- 2nd VP/Jog-a-thon Chair: Kelly Benjamin
- Treasurer: Shweta Shah
- Secretary: Recording: Mona Shah
- Parliamentarian: Haley Li
- Financial Secretary: Ted Shill
- Auditor: Jacqueline Hodges
The students paraded around campus today through each classroom getting to view their peers’ projects and work. What a great way to build community, visit past classrooms and see what’s to come!

PYLUSD is proud to offer a Transitional Kindergarten (TK) program at every elementary school. TK is an early year kindergarten experience for children turning five years old between September 2 and March 31 of the academic year. TK offers young kindergartners an early start and provides them with the opportunity to learn and grow in an environment tailored to meet their academic and social-emotional needs.
The district is currently looking to enhance its exemplary program. Input and perspectives from educational partners will be of great value in this process. Your participation will help inform the school district in its general program planning. This survey is not intended for personal program requests.
Please complete it by the end of the day on Thursday, March 10, 2022. We thank you for your willingness to participate.
