Welcome Message from the Principal: R.O.A.R.ing to Achieve
August 17, 2021
Dear Lakeview Elementary Families,
I hope you’ve had a wonderful summer break spending time adventuring and relaxing with loved ones! It is with great honor and excitement I introduce myself as the new Principal of Lakeview Elementary. I look forward to meeting each of you and joining the Lion pride as we start the 2021-2022 school year! It is very evident the Lakeview community esteems excellence and family, two values that resonate with me deeply. I am confident in our partnership to provide the best education and care for our students as we empower them to grow and thrive during their time at Lakeview.
I’d love to tell you a little about myself. I started my teaching career as a student teacher at Linda Vista Elementary then continued in the Fullerton School District for the past 15 years. I have served as a teacher, instructional coach, program specialist and assistant principal. My educational background includes undergraduate and graduate degrees from Biola University along with my GATE certificate and Administrative credential from UCI. My experiences have given me a passion for working with all learners, building upon their strengths, and bringing about the goodness that already exists in us all. I look forward to supporting and sustaining the wonderful programs and practices at Lakeview!
I met my husband while working at a summer camp just after college. We have two wonderful kids that bring us so much joy, Easten and Elton. Together, we enjoy going for family runs, playing games, and sharing delicious meals with our families and friends.
I am thankful for the leadership of Dr. Suena Chang and the leaders who have gone before me to help make Lakeview a special place. Thank you for entrusting me with your child. It is an honor to serve you! I will be sending out more information soon regarding the start of school. Please feel free to reach out with any questions.
